[The foundation for psychiatric treatment--from belief to science].

摘要: Like other clinical disciplines, psychiatry has been met with increasing demands to document the scientific foundations for its treatments. The introduction of evidence-based medicine contributed this. Psychiatry holds a unique position compared medical specialties because it deals not only physical or biological matters, but also questions meaning and mental phenomena. approach must incorporate both these aspects. This cannot be accomplished through purely hermeneutic relativistic position. In isolation, approaches contribute bridging gap between research practice. Evidence-based medicine, on hand, stronger emphasis empirical evidence as basis treatment methods, enables us secure better safer therapies our patients augment professional status psychiatry. A critical attitude towards established "truths" will prevent stagnation in static dogmatic positions, thereby promote continuous development. Quality assurance validation is basically question ethics, hence we avoid attending issues.
