摘要: Understanding uncertainties in land cover projections is critical to investigating land-based climate mitigation policies, assessing the potential of adaptation strategies and quantifying impacts change on system. Here, we identify quantify global European over a diverse range model types scenarios, extending analysis beyond agro-economic models included previous comparisons. The results from 75 simulations 18 are analysed show large area projections, with highest variability occurring future cropland areas. We demonstrate systematic differences areas associated characteristics modelling approach, which at least as great attributed scenario variations. lead us conclude that higher degree uncertainty exists use than currently or earth system projections. To account for uncertainty, it recommended set approaches when climate. Additionally, further work needed better understand assumptions driving reveal causes more depth, help reduce improve cover.
