摘要: Knowledge, culture, and relations of power shape the institutionalized discourses, ideologies, practices “development” as well everyday natural resource management women men around world. As a result, broader interdisciplinary perspective on agriculture, management, development practice beyond purely biophysical approaches is urgently needed. This chapter – like volume it introduces offers insights into socio-cultural, political-economic, environmental effects (and their very real implications for in global South), highlighting challenges “mis-adventures” associated with past current practices.
