摘要: New geochronological data from the Albera Massif confirm presence of an Early – Mid Ordovician igneous event (472 - 465Ma) recorded in pre-Variscan rocks Pyrenees. This resulted emplacement a large granitic body lower part pre-Upper metasedimentary succession and intrusion series metric sized dykes middle upper parts it. The two types were gneissified during subsequent Variscan deformation. occurrence gneiss as having derived intrusive sheet, other Pyrenean massifs. are considered to be subvolcanic equivalent sheet. also provide insight into age massif enable us correlate dated with gneissic bodies massifs Pyrenees Iberia.
