摘要: Ionic liquids (ILs) have attracted considerable attention as solvents, electrolytes, catalysts, and specific additives for the fabrication of various materials due to their combined characteristics green chemistry, tunable solubility, designable functionality. Recently, ILs already catalyzed interdisciplinary exploration both physicochemical properties potential applications, especially in functionalization carbon nanotubes (CNTs). However, remarkable structure-dependent realistic applications CNTs been hindered by processing manipulation difficulties intrinsic insolubility easy aggregation into bundles. Recent studies proved that can act solvents dispersants exfoliate stabilize matrices, compatibilizers modifiers improve interface binding between multiple components, well endow final composites with new functionalities. In this chapter, a comprehensive review about is presented summarizing recent scientific accomplishments addressing future perspectives research area.
