摘要: Although most new 'high tech' industrial processes are developed in industrialized countries, many of these technologies eventually transferred to the industrializing countries. Many associated with use respiratory toxins. However, there has been little study acute or chronic health effects work industries. The semiconductor industry illustrates issues. past decade increasing globalization manufacturing. Semiconductor manufacturing uses chemicals extremely high toxicity, including gases such as arsine and phosphine, strong acids bases, dopants photoactive chemicals. In manufacturing, strictly controlled, but is known about occurrence symptoms disease this industry. Potential exposures include mucous membrane irritation, tracheobronchitis, pulmonary edema death. Chronic may airway sensitization possibly cancer. Movement industries less countries not be accompanied by same degree attention control workplace exposures. shortage adequately trained safety personnel, greater than issues, unorganized unskilled workforce exacerbate situation. More research needed on rapidly changing results must communicated safe practices implemented worldwide.
