摘要: Objectives: The number of people suffering diabetes mellitus is increasing worldwide at an alarming rate. A huge populations in the world are entirely dependent on traditional medications. This practice may be due to their safety, effectiveness, and availability as well fewer side effects when compared synthetic hypoglycemic agents. present study was carried out investigate compare activity Lupinus albus (seeds), Medicago sativa (seeds) mixture both plants seeds some biochemical, hematological histological parameters alloxan-induced diabetic rats. Material method: Twenty-five male adult albino rats were divided into two groups: group 1: control (five animals) 2: alloxan induced rats. Diabetic further four subgroups, five animals each. Subgroup1: untreated rats; subgroup rates treated with aqueous extract seeds; 3: finally subgroup4: seeds. After thirty days treatment all sacrificed, blood sample collected estimate biochemical parameters. Liver samples determine glycogen content pancreatic obtained processed for microscopic quantitative evaluation. Results: In group, there reduction body weight's, hyperglycemia, hypoinsulinemia, significant increase liver kidney functions changes lipids profile proteins level decreased content. All groups restored most mentioned normal values. Moreover, these treatments recorded partial improvement histopathological produced by alloxan. Conclusion: or has hypolipidemic insulin decreasing resistance. addition, they ameliorate complications diabetes.
