Reason and Trends for Using Packaged Milk in Pakistan: Study of Urban Pakistani Consumers

摘要: Milk is one of the basic commodities and important in one’s day-to-day life. Pakistan with current estimates 4th largest milk producing countries world 33 billion annual productions. Out total produced, 97 % informal sector like loose which then sold both rural urban markets. On contrary, 3 produced catered by packaged companies dominated leading brands like, Nestle MilkPak Olpers Engro Foods. Since industry still constitutes production, there are pros cons associated same. The major concern health hazard issue linked production till it delivered to its customers. process followed farmers quite traditional where no measures taken improve system regard un-packaged milk. Our research relates mixed method approach has been used as part methodology. Qualitative Quantitative data will be collected through various instruments survey, focus groups in-depth interviews selected sample size. Results analyzed SPSS tool using test types descriptive statistics, correlation Chi Square test. To strengthen research, case study well identify key players market their strategies promote brand Pakistan.
