摘要: This is the first report on an evanescent wave optical amplifier with a plastic waveguide that can amplify CW signal transmitted by fiber. The concave refractive index distribution was fabricated interfacial-gel polymerization technique. Since increases number of reflections at boundary surface and laser dye solution, enhancement amplification efficiency be realized. function confirmed calculations experiments. obtained results indicate fiber generated larger field than without distribution.
