摘要: This paper describes the current status of 150 foot solar tower telescope program synoptic observations with an emphasis on magnetic field data. A newly installed 24-channel system permits routine intercomparison fields measured by ?676.8 nm line used Michelson Doppler Imager (MDI) Solar and Heliospheric Observatory ?525.0 tower. Two important calibration procedures for treatment saturation zero-point offset are described. It is demonstrated that rotation can be to extract east-west component slowly evolving, large-scale in a stable fashion. same analysis produces maps neutral configurations well correlated positions quiescent prominences. The applied 2000 July 14 flare shown demonstrate was sheared due westward-moving intrusion region just north along which flaring occurred. new method preparing charts averaging without differential smearing presented. These combined into format termed supersynoptic chart, makes possible identification systematic long-term trends evolution. Based these charts, distinct events bias opposing old-cycle dipole seen. statistical using skewness distribution polarity as function longitude developed. coincidence between pulses this times rapid change Sun's moment consistent idea tilt orientation bipolar regions responsible reversal. large limited number, suggesting operation instability such kink instability.
