Intelligent Integrative Knowledge Bases: Bridging Genomics, Integrative Biology and Translational Medicine

摘要: Successful application of translational medicine will require understanding the complex nature disease, fueled by effective analysis multidimensional ’omics’ measurements and systems-level studies. In this paper, we present a perspective — intelligent integrative knowledge base (I2KB)— for data management, statistical discovery related to human disease. By building bridge between patient associations, clinicians, experimentalists modelers, I2KB facilitate emergence propagation systems studies, which are prerequisite large-scaled clinical trial efficient diagnosis, disease screening, drug target evaluation development new therapeutic strategies.
