摘要: Abstract : Inorganic building materials such as cement and plaster posses adequate compressive strength but their inherent weakness in tension against impact seldom permits effective utilisation of high structural applications. Commercially available glass fibers (eg E-fibers) can successfully reinforce gypsum that composites made by using a suitable fabrication technique possess sufficient durability to be considered for load-bearing Regarding the reinforcement cements concrete, E-glass are very seriously damaged Portland cements; certain having compositions Na2O-SiO2-ZrO2 system may alkali resistance reinforcing cements. The present paper describes results this area. (Author)
