摘要: The vocal tract from the glottis to lips is considered be a resonator and voice changeable depending upon shape of tract. In this report, we examined change in pharyngeal size acoustic feature after tonsillectomy. Methods: Subjects were 20 patients. distance between both anterior pillars (glossopalatine arches), posterior (pharyngopalatine arches) was measured weekly. For measurements, five Japanese vowels conversational sentences recorded analyzed. Results: became wider 2 weeks postoperatively, tended become narrower thereafter. even 4 postoperatively. No consistent changes F0, Fl F2 found surgery. Although there tendency for decrease F3, tonsillectomy did not appear acoustical features remarkably. It assumed that subject may adjust produce speech sounds surgery using auditory feedback.
