摘要: Cardiac catheterization was initially attempted in cadavers around 400 BC. The first successful cardiac carried out by Dr Werner Frossmann on himself 1929 [1]. A catheter self-introduced via the left anticubital vein into right atrium at a small hospital Eberswald, Germany. Frossmann, an innovator, clearly ahead of his time.
