摘要: Attempts have been made to correlate the scratch behavior and basic material properties of polymers a correlation has established between damage, bulk response friction coefficient. The thermoset solid polymer exhibiting brittle in tension was investigated determine how affects resistance. surfaces were scratched under progressive loading an imaging system used record real time photographs in-situ contact area damage corresponding cracking near rear edge contact. 3D crack pattern analyzed using fluorescence confocal laser scanning microscopy. A finite element simulation gave estimation as input data for network onset development analysis based on localized multigrid X-FEM techniques. level sets functions are defined from measured geometry. set 11 meshes focus cracked areas.
