摘要: Abstract Experimental studies of the blue phase cholesteric liquid crystals have revealed two cubic phases (BPI and BPII) a possible amorphous “fog” (BPIII). In addition, number theoretical models been proposed which arrive at these structures from point view Landau theory, lattice disclinations, or as an ordered emulsion. We review present state knowledge show significance to other problems in condensed matter research.
