摘要: The influence of oil concentration on hydrocarbon biodegradation in a sandy sediment was studied polyvinyl chloride reactors (0.450.280.31 m) containing 76.8 kg beach sand natura, where the upper layer artificially contaminated with petroleum. oil-degrading microorganisms used consisted mixed culture named ND, obtained from landfarming and associated indigenous microorganisms. On 28th day process, degradation light Arabian presenting an initial content 14, 21 or 28 g ˇ1 reached following levels (%): 33.7, 32.9 28.9 for grease; up to 88.3, 35.3 13.0 C14‐C26 n-alkanes; 100, 61.3 59.4 pristane, respectively. Phytane removal (37.1%) only detected reactor lowest studied. These results, together expressive bacterial growth observed (from 10 6 11 cfu ) give strong support argument that dominant component remediation process. Susceptibility inversely proportional increasing contamination. branched alkane: pristane not repressed by presence n-alkanes. # 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
