摘要: The geography of the Volta basin is briefly described. This followed by an overview water use developments in two main riparian countries, Ghana and Burkina Faso. Ghana's consists mainly hydropower generation for urbanized south whereas upstream Faso agricultural dominates. Analysis balance shows a large sensitivity surface resources with respect to changes precipitation thereby global regional climate change. Finally, GLOWA project introduced which addresses issue optimal under changing demand supply.
