摘要: Abstract : Simulations of a model configuration lean direct injection (LDI) gas turbine combustor were performed to assess the effects fuel spray modeling in predicting combustion instability. Concurrently, experimental data obtained at same conditions test with for comparison. To improve simulation predictions, was tuned and assessed two major steps. First, focus is put on Weber number-adaptive hybrid that describes secondary atomization. Tuning constants over finite range does not have significant effect predictions. Second, specified distributions are tested replace linear stability primary breakup (LISA). Both uniform log-normal used different mean drop diameters. A better match between pressure amplitude could be achieved by specifying distribution, but predicted dominant modes (3L/4L 1T) seemed very sensitive applied.
