摘要: Increasing numbers of elderly people are being treated in hospitals and at particular risk acquiring infections. The incidence, factors types hospital-acquired infection (HAI) the reviewed. Special reference is made to urinary tract infections, respiratory gastrointestinal infections including Clostridium difficile, bacteraemia, skin soft tissue with antibiotic-resistant organisms.
