摘要: Although evidence is emerging that the prevalence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) declining in all age groups, understanding its disease spectrum continues to evolve. If untreated, H. infection lifelong. typically colonizes human stomach for many decades without adverse consequences, children infected with can manifest gastrointestinal diseases. Controversy persists regarding testing (and treating) recurrent abdominal pain, chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenia, and poor growth. There role childhood iron deficiency anemia, but results are not conclusive. The possibility an inverse relationship between gastroesophageal reflux disease, as well asthma, remains a controversial question. A better should lead clearer recommendations about treating who more likely develop clinical sequelae.
