摘要: A key challenge for sustainable use of natural resources is determining how to manage multiple ecosystem services across landscapes. According Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (MA), this requires identifying trade-offs and synergies that exist among services. We developed an inventory consisted 35 20 socio-ecological attributes based on statistical data 17 municipalities in Ishikawa Prefecture, which contains long-standing production landscapes seascapes. analyzed are interlinked as synergy trade-off such relationships influenced by the attributes. found there was a forest related (e.g. water retention, timber production) also agriculture rice production, agricultural retention) between Municipality has larger area higher heterogeneity tends have values services, while municipality cultivated population cultural number recreation facilities, properties). For managing toward society harmony with nature, our results suggest decision-making needs focus interaction recognize these strongly linked municipalities. Further research required understand mechanism behind synergetic or different identified study.
