摘要: Osteomyelitis is usually the inflammation of bone and its marrow contents. jaw commonly occurs as a complication dental sepsis, but it also seen in various other situations. It polymicrobial infection. has been associated with multiple systemic diseases including diabetes, autoimmune states, malignancies, malnutrition, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Before confirmation osteomyelitis, one should rule out tooth source The medications linked to osteomyelitis are steroids, chemotherapeutic agents, bisphosphonates. Different terminologies classification systems used, based on variety features such clinical course, pathological–anatomical or radiological features, etiology, pathogenesis. may be classified acute, subacute chronic, depending presentation. still fairly common disease maxillofacial clinics despite introduction new antibiotics improvement care. occur at any age, most site being mandible. This case an adult patient chronic suppurative (CSO), who reported our department pain swelling molar region mandible right side. Here we report detailed clinical, radiographical histopathological differential diagnosis treatment.
