The influence of OH groups on laser performance in phosphate glasses

摘要: Because of the influence OH groups in phosphate glasses on radiation rare-earth ions, laser performance is degraded. The efficiency and small signal gain experiment several glass samples have been done, concentration was calculated from measured absorption coefficient at 3.47 ?m. It shown that can seriously output characteristics, worse amplifier than oscillator.
