摘要: A general viewpoint of pattern recognition is introduced. Two major approaches to recognition; namely, decision-theoretic (or statistical) and syntactic structural), are then discussed within the framework. The approach template- matching can be interpreted as a special case two approaches. Various ways mixing discussed.
