摘要: We present here an experimental, strictly one-dimensional rotational system, made by using single magnetic Janus particles in a static field. These were half-coated with thin metallic film, and turning on properly oriented external field, we monitor the Brownian motion of particles, solution, around desired axis. Bright-field microscopy imaging provides information particle orientation as function time. Rotational diffusion coefficients are derived for diffusion, both rotating cluster four such particles. Over studied time domain, up to 10 s, variation angle rotation is Brownian; its probability distribution Gaussian, mean squared angular displacement linear time, expected free diffusion.
