摘要: An experimental program was initiated to determine the noise radiation from landing-gear/wheel-well configurations of large commercial aircraft. Scale models typical nose gear and main (synthesized different type aircraft) were exposed flow landing approach speeds (up 65 m/sec) on a stationary outdoor wall-jet facility attached wings an aerodynamically very clean glider (SB-10). Landing-gear is composed sound generated by interaction with 1) wheel-well volume, 2) external equipment. Wheel-well related characterized discrete tones whose intensity heavily damped spoiling effect gear. Externally landing-gear mostly broadband character. The contributions some dominant features (shaft, struts, actuators, doors, wheels) total signature determined normalized spectra developed that predict measured full-scale fairly well.
