摘要: PRE- AND POSTIMPLANTATION development of parthenogenetic embryos is interest in analyses the role male genome early mammalian development, differentiation, and haploid diploid gene expression embryogenesis. Diploid mouse parthenogenones evidently possess capacity to form teratomas give rise differentiated tissues1,2 although normal organogenesis has not been observed progress beyond somite stage utero3. Birth live rabbits reported4–8, Beatty9 estimated that 1 200 induced under similar conditions can be expected reach term. There is, however, some doubt about validity this work since subsequent attempts repeat it have failed obtain blastocyst stage10,11. Mouse develop egg cylinder but only one 8-somite embryo so far obtained3,12. We examined postimplantation report a high proportion progressed when blastocysts were transferred pseudopregnant recipients. Recipients ovariectomised following transfer their pregnant state maintained with exogenous hormones. Two apparently forelimb-bud beating heart yolk sac circulation obtained. Other isolated from same recipient showed disorganised twin conceptus was obtained further recipient.
