摘要: Abstract Mesoporous SnO2 nanoparticles were prepared via surfactant-assisted sol-gel method and then modified with different amount (3–65) wt.% of phosphomolybdic acid (PMA) using the impregnation method. The catalysts characterized by thermal analysis (TGA DTA), XRD, TEM, FTIR N2 adsorption-desorption at −196 °C (BET BJH). 25 %PMA/SnO2 calcined 400°, 450°, 550o, 650 °C to study effect calcination temperature on structural properties, surface acidity, catalytic activity Keggin structure PMA. acidity was measured potentiometric titration spectra chemisorbed pyridine. It is observed that crystallite size decreased increasing PMA content increased while area (SBET) loading reach a maximum 25 wt%. enhanced after addition shown both Bronsted Lewis sites. tested synthesis hydroquinone diacetate. sample 55 wt.% showed highest activity.
