摘要: Analysis of a three year time series rocket ozone measurements at Wallops Island, Va., set soundings across the southern hemisphere, and Fort Churchill, Manitoba has produced evidence that NOx budget is not simply explained by oxidation biospheric nitrous oxide. A 1-D time-dependent photochemical model used to compute amount required maintain odd oxygen in steady state after accounting for Chapman, hydrogen, chlorine reactions. The air densities temperature are measured quantities which fixed during calculations. At mid-latitude station, inferred seasonal variation small with fall winter mixing ratios about 20% greater than spring summer values. Churchill require same as Island months but more double this late winter. latitude dependence NOx, derived from season hemisphere data, requires decrease equator midlatitudes, followed an increase higher latitudes. These combined results indicate oxide source supplemented polar months. This consistent descent therrao- spheric its high nitric content period strong cooling night.
