摘要: The design and performance of a novel coplanar waveguide (CPW) taper for picosecond pulse applications is described. Tapers with widely differing widths varying from 62.5 mu m to 900 are investigated. circuit characteristics were simulated in both time domain frequency using 3-D transmission-line-matrix (TLM) method. An optimum biquadratic shape which reduces the reflections more than 5% below 2% comparison linear was found. circuits measured range up 40 GHz wafer prober. At GHz, insertion loss values less 0.4 dB. For double taper, risetimes 6.4 ps achieved correspond bandwidth 55 GHz;. >
