摘要: AbstractThe development of lightweight armour systems for ballistic protection is under continuing attention the manufacturers and users. A new design composite has been developed ballistically tested. system consists a ceramic plate, an intermediate ceramic–polymer layer polymer fibre lining as backing material. The proposed prepared with use specially selected compositions promoting absorption kinetic energy projectiles provide adequate to National Institute Justice (NIJ) level III IV, they successfully withstand multiple hits.
