摘要: A flock of four-week old turkey chicks showed clinical signssuch as fatigue, in-appetence, gasping and eventual death after having a very brief illnesses. Postmortem examinations non-mineralized elevated nodules in the lung, costal membranes inner surface abdominal cavity. Histopathologic findings were typical avian tuberculosis, with necrotic debris lung parenchyma. The lesions found to be surrounded by epithelioid macrophages, lymphocytes, multinucleated giant cells. Laboratory confirmation was made based on using Ziehl-Neelsen(ZN) acid-fast stain. presence granulomas lungs infected may suggest that exposure infective agent via respiratory route rather than alimentary route. case diagnosed tuberculus peri-bronchial pneumonia.
