摘要: Abstract Both cholera toxin and pertussis catalyzed ADP-ribosylation of purified bovine brain tubulin. The effect was evident in the absence or presence nucleotides. In contrast, required adenine nucleotides for its ADP-ribosylating activity. ATP, ATP gamma S, App(NH)p, deoxy-ATP, ADP all supported toxin-catalyzed ADP-ribosylations EDTA, suggesting that nucleotide hydrolysis not involved. Adenine also promoted heat-treated serum albumin. This result suggests directly affect toxin. stimulation NAD to ADP-ribose supports this hypothesis.
