摘要: The abnormal deposition of proteins in brain tissue is a common feature neurodegenerative diseases (NDs) often accompanied by the spread mutated proteins, causing neuronal toxicity. Exosomes play fundamental role on their releasing extracellular space after endosomal pathway activation, allowing to remove protein aggregates lysosomal degradation or inclusion into multivesicular bodies (MVBs), besides promoting cellular cross-talk. emerging evidence pathogenic mutations associated ND susceptibility, leading impairment exosome production and secretion, opens new perspective mechanisms involved neurodegeneration. Recent findings suggest investigate genetic regulating different functions central nervous system (CNS), understand pathogenesis NDs, addressing identification diagnostic pharmacological targets. This review aims summarize underlying biogenesis, molecular composition CNS, with specific focus recent invoking defective biogenesis as biological major caused alterations. Further definition consequences release will improve studies NDs.
