摘要: An optical telecommunications network suitable for carrying broadcast and switched services. The includes a wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) coupled to waveguide grating router (WGR). In accordance with the invention, an adjacent input port is connected same content. Thus, its outputs are (or wrapped around). According, power in each of bands at remains but reduced by factor two channel occupying twice as many channels. This has effect increasing signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) two.
