Effect of Boron on Thymic Cytokine Expression, Hormone Secretion, Antioxidant Functions, Cell Proliferation, and Apoptosis Potential via the Extracellular Signal-Regulated Kinases 1 and 2 Signaling Pathway

摘要: Boron is an essential trace element in animals. Appropriate boron supplementation can promote thymus development; however, a high dose of lead to adverse effects and cause toxicity. The influencing mechanism on the animal body remains unclear. In this study, we examined effect cytokine expression, thymosin thymopoietin secretion, antioxidant function, cell proliferation apoptosis, extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 2 (ERK1/2) pathway rats. We found that with 10 20 mg/L drinking water significantly elevated levels interleukin (IL-2), interferon γ (IFN-γ), 4 (IL-4), α1 rats (p < 0.05), increased number positive proliferating nuclear antigen (PCNA+) cells concentrations glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) phosphorylated kinase (p-ERK) promoted mRNA expression PCNA ERK1/2 thymocytes ...
