摘要: A computer memory has a simple Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) associated therewith. The ALU is used to perform arithmetic operations such as bit left shifts, right increment, decrement, integer addition, subtraction, negation, division and multiplication. Instructions are recognised by which may be performed the with memory, rather than central processing unit itself.
