Production of large-area lithium-ion cells – Preconditioning, cell stacking and quality assurance

摘要: Abstract In times of climate change and shortage fossil fuels, electro mobility provides a clean sustainable solution. The growing number electric vehicles generates huge demand on lithium-ion cells. Due to higher quality requirements different conditions operation compared consumer cells adapted production processes systems are needed. Consequently, this paper analyses the process chain for proposes solutions automation important steps suitable mass production, in particular pre-conditioning electrodes cell stacking. Additionally, an approach detection particles electrode surfaces is presented.
