摘要: Abstract Different measures of raised blood pressure were analysed in 16 211 singleton pregnancies to determine the most effective way identifying pre-eclampsia. Increments from baseline first half pregnancy considered as well absolute levels. A combination a high maximum diastolic with large increase was better for group pre-eclamptic features than either measurement on its own. below 90 mm Hg, subsequent at least 25 and reading Hg gave appropriate criteria. These applied second set 15 624 successfully identified features. Fewer women criteria modified an existing definition widely used Britain. The excluded by new had mild chronic hypertension rather is simple use but like all other definitions pre-eclampsia cannot be precise.
