摘要: The role of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) in the diagnosis breast cancer and its association with molecular biomarkers was investigated 259 patients cancer, 67 benign pathology 54 healthy volunteers using diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) at 1.5 T. In 59 patients, dynamic contrast enhanced MRI (DCEMRI) also acquired. Mean ADC malignant lesions significantly lower (1.02 ± 0.17 x 10-3 mm2/s) compared to (1.57 0.26 (1.78 0.13 tissues. A cut-off value 1.23 mm2/s (sensitivity 92.5%; specificity 91.1%; AUC 0.96) differentiate from diseases arrived by ROC analysis. 10/59 indeterminate DCE curve seen while their showed as positive for malignancy implying potential addition DWI increasing DCEMRI data. Further, tumor volume, stage, hormonal receptors [estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone (PR) human epidermal growth factor (HER2)] menopausal status investigated. significant difference volume between stages IIA IIIA; IIB III (B + C) (p<0.05). statistically a early (n=52) those locally advanced (n=207). No found status. Breast cancers ER-, PR- triple negative (TN) larger ER+, PR+ non-triple (nTN) cancers, respectively. Also, TN higher nTN cancers. Patients ER- were younger age ER+ present study demonstrated that may increase diagnostic aid treatment management clinical setting. Additionally, it provides an insight into characterization types serve indicator metabolic reprogramming underlying proliferation.
