摘要: Chicken gizzard muscle tropomyosin has been fractionated into its two major components, beta and gamma the amino acid sequence of component established by isolation analysis fragments derived from cyanogen bromide cleavage tryptic digestions. Despite much slower mobility on sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide electrophoretic gels, it same polypeptide chain length (284 residues) as alpha components rabbit skeletal muscle. Evidence for microheterogeneity chicken was detected both gels in analysis. The is more closely related to alpha-tropomyosin than component. While protein highly homologous tropomyosins, significant differences are observed regions; between residues 42-83 258-284. In latter region (COOH-terminal) alterations very similar those seen platelet when compared with proteins.
