Qualitative reasoning about physical processes

摘要: Common sense reasoning about the physical world must include an understanding of processes and changes they cause. For example, heating a liquid causes its temperature to rise if continued long enough may cause it boil. A style analysis is presented that combines deKleer's Incremental Qualitative wjth Quantity Space idea from Naive Physics reason effects their limits. The demonstrated on example with practical importance, further possibilities for applications are discussed.
