摘要: Article history: Received: 24 July 2013 Accepted: 11 Sep Available online: 22 Jan 2014 ZJRMS Oct; 16(Suppl 1): 60-63 Background: Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is a new method of psychotherapy for major depressive disorder (MDD). The aim this experimental study evaluating the effectiveness acceptance cognitive therapy. Materials Methods: In randomized clinical trial, 19 out-patients were randomly divided into 2 groups (acceptance therapy). Twelve therapeutic sessions administered in consulting center Tehran University twice week. All subjects tested by Beck Depression Inventory (BDIII)) Ruminative Response Scale (RRS) before after treatments. Data analyzed multivariate analysis covariance (MANCOVA). Results: results show no significant differences between two terms variables depression rumination. Conclusion: Overall, suggest that ACT an effective treatment, which appears equivalent to CT.
