摘要: Abstract An interesting option for plasma-facing components such as divertors seems to be the use of liquid–metal saturated capillary porous structures, on which a stable liquid surface could obtained by forces. The aim present study is providing first description metal flows in system (CPS) when an external uniform magnetic field imposed, order judge feasibility, from magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) point view, CPS technology steady-state divertor applications. Numerical results show that, independently orientation field, permeability strongly reduces MHD compared those corresponding hydrodynamic Darcy regime. Main parameters that influence are identified.
