摘要: Abstract Various authors ( SCHMIDT, 1964 ; MACKINLAY and WAKE, NEELIN, Woychik, , 1965 ) have found that the A B genetic types of H -casein can be resolved into several fractions. Genetic studies (GROSCLAUDE et al., 1965) shown a common segregation major two minor fractions within each variant. This observation suggests either existence single locus specifying structure these fractions, i.e. identity between their polypeptide chains, or closely linked loci (at least bi-allelic), different which together would constitute socalled “phenotype A” B” -casein. WAKE (1965) al. (1966) SCHMIDT pointed out mobilities could explained by amounts carbohydrates, particularly sialic acid, to basic unit. The comparison para-derivatives released from rennin treatment (MACKINLAY 1966) supports assumption chain. In this paper C-terminal sequences highly chromatographically purified is reported. molecular weights, obtained analysis seven -A are presented. results add evidence for very close relationship chains in account more than 90% preparations.
