摘要: Heavy metals and organochlorine pesticide's residues were measured in the benthic macroinvertebrates taken from raw water of three works, namely Gokulpuri works (Yamuna tank Ganga tank), Haiderpur Wazirabad National Capital, Delhi, January 1997 to July 1997. These obtain supply River Yamuna, Western Yamuna Canal Gang Canal. The biota samples collected with help artificial substratum found accumulate varying levels these micropollutants. disposal partially treated/untreated wastewater contribution agricultural chemicals, like fertilizers pesticides either through run-off or ground water, may be main sources such micropollutants biota.
