摘要: Two species of freshwater snails, Physa acuta and Lymnaea sp. aff. columella, were collected from Asabata marsh, Shizuoka Japan. Individuals both inhabit the same plants. P. are more abundant than those L. columella. Experiments conducted to examine effect water conditioned by snails on growth 10-day-old juvenile snails. Juvenile in columella grew faster or only lettuce. The effects differed among litters. results suggest that experience accelated presence interacted through resource competition as well substances disolved water.
