摘要: We consider a wireless network of static nodes where each transmitter-receiver pair employs slotted Aloha, electing to transmit with common contention probability p, and we further assume the Rayleigh fading varies time slot. The random point processes actual transmitters in given slot (along their fades) determine interference seen by reference receiver, across slots is dependent due dependence on underlying set potential interferers. It follows that observations over several (or summary statistics this process) may be leveraged yield improved estimates success transmission attempted at receiver. In paper study value different forms such improving estimated probability. Specifically, five cases: observer has i) zero knowledge, ii) full knowledge process transmitters, iii) number "nearby" iv) N binary under "physical" model v) "protocol"
