摘要: A serious game was designed and developed with the goal of exploring potential sustainable futures transitions towards them. This computer-assisted board game, Last Island, which incorporates a system dynamics model into game's core mechanics, attempts to impart knowledge understanding on sustainability how an isolated society may transition various non-expert community players. To this end, collaborative-competitive utilizes Miniworld simulates three variables important for society: human population, economic production state environment. The resulting player interaction offers possibilities collectively discover validate scenarios transitioning future, encouraging players work together balance output while also competing individual objectives be winner game.
